Planning a four-year high school program is a serious undertaking. The selection of your graduation plan is dependent on your interests and plans for furture careers. Some questions to consider when making your plans are the following:

• Will you continue your education at a university, college, or trade or technical school?
• Do you want to enter the full-time work force immediately after high school?
• Are you interested in mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or another specialized field of study?
• Are you thinking of entering a profession that requires specialized education, such as teaching, medicine, or law?

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs of Study guidebook will help you make wise and thoughtful decisions that will put you in the best position for success in your world after high school.
