Entry Plan for Superintendent Chris Wigington

Commitments and Understanding

  • Change in leadership is an exciting time but also a very anxious time.  It will take time for everyone to get to know me, to build trust, and be familiar with my leadership style.

  • My objective is to visit with as many stakeholders as possible both inside and outside of the school district.  I am looking forward to understanding and learning about the goals, dreams, and concerns that this community has for their children.

  • I will make sure all stakeholder interactions are purposeful and make a conscious effort to have various and intentional opportunities for stakeholder input.

  • I will listen thoughtfully to the feedback received and confirm that significant changes to current practice will not be introduced during this transition time.

  • I will compile my findings and give a comprehensive report to the School Board and community.

  • Together, we will use the information gathered to form a vision, intentional goals for student learning, and a shared consensus around how best to achieve and support our objectives through deliberate planning.
